Coach Valmon is a World Record holder and two-time Olympic gold medalist in the 4x400m relay (1988 and 1992). In 2012, he served as the Head Coach of the United States Men’s Track and Field team at the London Olympic Games. Coach Valmon has worked with some of the fastest athletes in the world as a sprint coach and relay coordinator on numerous other US national teams including at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow. He has been the Head Coach of the Maryland Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country teams since 2003.
Coach Siebert had a great Track and Field career at the University of Maryland where she was coached by Andrew Valmon. After graduating, she returned to be a coach herself and she is one of the assistant coaches for the Track and Field team at Maryland. Coach Siebert has also assisted with U.S. Track and Field and will be traveling with the junior team to China and Japan as one of their managers in Summer 2015.
